How to use alPartido.
Everything you need to organize Wednesday's kickabout, sign up when someone drops the link, or bring the cousin who is visiting.
Four steps to get started
-
Create your group
Name it, set the usual day, place and slots. Done in under a minute.
-
Invite with a link
Share the link on WhatsApp. Friends RSVP without an account or installing anything.
-
Everyone confirms
One tap: Going, Not going, Maybe. Whoever does not make the cut joins the waitlist automatically.
-
Play and history updates
Score and ratings. No message spam until the next match.
Create a group and schedule the first match
You run the weekly meetup. Set this up once and players always know when and where.
- Create the group with a fixed day and time (e.g. Wednesdays 9pm) and the usual venue.
- Pick the format (5-a-side, 7, 11) and how many slots fit per match.
- Share the invite link on WhatsApp. Each person signs in with their email.
- Schedule the next match in one tap from the group screen.
RSVP, change your mind, waitlist
Your only job is to say if you are going. Changing your mind is allowed. Sometimes needed.
- Tap Going, Not going, or Maybe. Saved instantly.
- If the match is full and you say Going, you join the waitlist in arrival order.
- If a confirmed player drops, the first waitlisted is promoted automatically and notified.
- There is a cutoff before kickoff. After that you cannot change your RSVP.
Bring someone not in the group
Sometimes you are short one and a friend wants in for that night without joining the whole group.
- Any group member can generate a guest link for a specific match.
- Your friend opens the link, types their name, and is signed up for that match only.
- If the match is full they join the waitlist, same as everyone else.
- You can remove them anytime from the match page.
Get notified without opening the app
Nobody should learn about a match at 11pm.
- Enable push notifications from your account. Works on mobile and desktop.
- You get notified when a match is scheduled, cancelled, and reminded before kickoff.
- If you prefer email, reminders also reach the inbox you signed in with.
- Subscribe your personal iCal feed and matches appear in Google/Apple Calendar.
Cancel a match when it rains
It happens. Better cancel from the group than send fifteen separate messages.
- Only the group organizer can cancel.
- Write the reason (rain, pitch closed, whatever). Everyone signed up sees it instantly.
- Email and push are sent to confirmed players and waitlist.
- The match remains visible in history as cancelled.
