Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies alPartido uses and for what purpose. It complies with article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE Act and with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) guidelines. The Spanish version at /cookies is the legally binding one; this English version is provided for convenience.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small data file that a website stores in your browser or device when you visit it. It is used to remember information between pages (for example, that you are signed in) and to recognise you on subsequent visits.

2. TL;DR: we only use technical cookies

On alPartido we only use strictly necessary cookies for the service to work (to keep you signed in and to protect forms). We do not use analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media cookies.

For that reason, and in line with the AEPD's Cookie Guide, no prior consent is required: technical cookies are exempt. We still provide the detail below for transparency.

3. Cookies in detail

3.1. First-party cookies

  • alpartido_session — Technical session cookie. Maintains the link between your browser and your account once you have signed in. Lifetime: 2 hours, or until you sign out / clear cookies. Legal basis: necessary to provide the service (consent-exempt).
  • XSRF-TOKEN — Technical security cookie. Protects forms against CSRF attacks. Lifetime: same as the session. Legal basis: necessary for security (consent-exempt).

3.2. Third-party cookies

We do not embed third-party content (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, embedded YouTube, etc.). Therefore, browsing alPartido does not install any third-party cookies on your device.

4. Other similar technologies

  • Browser LocalStorage and Service Worker cache: because the App is a PWA (Progressive Web App), the browser stores static assets (CSS, JavaScript, icons) so the App loads quickly and works offline. They do not contain personally identifiable information.
  • Push subscriptions: if you enable push notifications, the browser or operating system generates an anonymous identifier that we send to our servers. It is not a cookie, but it is a technical data point we process. You can disable it at any time from your browser or device settings.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that if you block session cookies you will not be able to sign in to alPartido. Official instructions for the most common browsers:

6. Changes to this policy

If in the future we start using non-exempt cookies (e.g. third-party analytics), we will update this policy and display a consent banner before installing them.
